I was gonna say what that guy ^^^ said about it being a bit obvious, and about Excalibur, plus: Maid Marian was not a princess, she was a maiden. Something that I find interesting that may contribute to your page is that Marian was based on a shepherdess named Marion [1], which sounds quite a bit like Malon, who works on a ranch similar to how Marion was a shepherdess. Also, Malon is often considered one of Link's possible love interests, just as Marian was Robin Hood's love interest. Murdokdracul

Of course it is obvious to users of a Zelda-themed Wiki such as this one, but to those who perhaps play the games just for the fun of it (not looking much past the game aspect of it), I see this article as highly benefitial. Another connection with Robin Hood is that in the legend, the authorities (under the evil Prince John) have usurped their power from the absent King Richard, who Robin remains loyal to. This is often paralleled in the Legend of Zelda, with Ganondorf taking control of Hyrule, and Link rebelling against him. The historical elements of Neverland are also paralleled by some of the "borderline-medieval" elements of the Legend of Zelda series, such as bombs, cannons, pirates and pirate ships. --xensyriaT 17:28, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
