Contacts
It would seem like the "Contacts" subsection is out of date. So, could someone who can edit protected pages edit it to make it up to present standards? Either add all the admins to the subsection, or give a link to the admin page: which makes a lot more sense to me. User:Austin2862/sig 18:29, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- It's not out of date; the admin team collectively decided to offer a small group of contacts for applicants to get in touch with. That way, only readily available staff are contacted, ensuring a quick response to any application. Also, it's easier for someone to choose one of the four available contacts to email, rather than randomly selecting one of the 24 admins. If someone were to email me, for example, I'd be unlikely to see the message and they'd probably go at least a month without a reply; not a very professional appearance to present! —Adam [ talk ] 19:33, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I've added myself to this contact list; I may not be active on ZW on a daily basis, but I do check my email at least three times a day and could always take time out of the day to honor an affiliation request.
