Template:Enemy Winders are recurring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][note 1]

Characteristics

A Link to the Past

Winders appear in various Dark World dungeons in A Link to the Past. Their movement is unpredictable, as they change directions randomly whenever they hit an object.

The Minish Cap

Winders can set fire to Link if touched in The Minish Cap.

Phantom Hourglass

Winders are electrically charged and travel along walls in Phantom Hourglass. Touching one will shock and damage Link.

Spirit Tracks

Winders can be defeated by firing an Arrow at their heads in Spirit Tracks. They are also helpful against Heatoises, as they are weak against electricity.

A Link Between Worlds

Winders go unnamed in A Link Between Worlds. They appear in a single room of the Dark Palace alongside various Kodongos. Winders must be avoided while traversing the labyrinthian room while shrouded in darknees.

Other Appearances

Ancient Stone Tablets

Winders appear in Ancient Stone Tablets.

  1. Winders are refered to as Moldolas in the Official Game Guide to The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks by Prima Games.[2] However, because Winder's name was officially stated in Encyclopedia, this name is no longer considered Canon.
