The Water Basin is an object featured in Skyward Sword.[1]

Location and Uses

When Link first meets Faron the Water Dragon, she can be found recuperating inside the basin full of sacred water due to the injuries she received from Ghirahim.[2] However, since the healing properties of the sacred water have been diminishing, Link sets out to obtain more water from one of the Temple Springs.[3]

Later on, the basin is necessary to access the Fire Sanctuary. Since the basin is too big for Link to carry, Scrapper is able to do the job, but he cannot protect himself when bringing the Basin to the entrance of the Fire Sanctuary.[4] When reaching the end of the Volcano Summit area, Link will have to protect Scrapper as he is holding the Basin from numerous enemies. At the entrance of the Fire Sanctuary, Scrapper will pour the water in the Basin into the mouth of the mechanical frog head, thus granting access to the Fire Sanctuary.
