i am sorry to bother you pakkuna, but User:KrytenKoro is continuing to try and spread lies that i am somehow connected to some user he didn't like or that i am actually him, and i would like this stopped. he is getting on my nerves, and i'd like him to either be told to stop or for some action to be taken against him to discourage him from continuing this slander. i apologize for involving you in this, but i am getting tired of the guy, and i'd like something done about it. thank you. Goddess of Time
Just wanted to apologize; I had gotten my memories mixed up and misremembered that Zelda had been specified as the Sage of Time.
In regards to the Master Sword -- it is said to be a ship that sails though time in OoT, and unless I'm misremembering again, SS says that Hylia created it, doesn't it?KrytenKoro (talk) 16:54, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

I just thought I would remove it all because it states those things earlier in the article ("Whoever the Goddess is, it is clear that she is linked with the Princess of Hyrule, Zelda, who is the one to introduce Link to the Temple of Time, the Ocarina of Time, the "Song of Time," and even the concept of a Goddess of Time. Using these instruments, Zelda is also...").
- I would say that it would serve better to move that information that I quoted down below after the Nayru bit and merge it with your sentence.
- About the Master Sword bit, I forgot that Sheik said that, so my condolences about that as well. In Skyward Sword canon, Hylia doesn't create the Master Sword; she creates the Goddess Sword, which Link then tempers into the legendary blade. Hylia further empowers it with her blessing, but I wouldn't say that she directly created it. Capitalization
Okay, I guess color me confused about why we're capitalizing all those words? It definitely indicates them to be proper nouns, and it's not like the game scripts always refer to them as proper nouns, even when they are the official names. - Hrm. Well, I've always considered it an unspoken rule that item names should probably be capitalized.
- To answer you, though, the games have never really been very consistent with it. I was playing Majora's Mask the other day and noticed an inconsistency within the same paragraph from a character (not to mention different games treat things differently, so it's largely a capricious mess). Typically the so-called precedent is based on inventory screens, where (just about) every title is capitalized, even Sword. Frankly, the consistency that it offers by keeping these examples capitalized just makes for a more coherent base for editing and reading in my opinion. However, if you disagree, feel free to take it up at the Discussion Center so it can be decided one way or another. - TonyT S C 10:14, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

- Well off the top of my head, there's the categories for Articles Lacking Sources. If you have access to any text dumps, then that's always a good option. If you're up for a larger undertaking, feel free to take a swing at the Category:Articles Needing Reorganization and try to make those more standardized.
- Insofar as direct work that I think needs attention, Template:Mask needs to be replaced by Template:Infobox Item, so you can assume that responsibility if you'd like. I can get back to you if you'd like to do something else or if anything's unclear, however. - TonyT S C 06:25, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

For example, the Dark Link page would be in Four Swords Adventures and A Link Between Worlds, so would the template there be {{Lacking Sources|FSA|ALBW}} or would it be something else? - Ah, what I meant was this: if an article covers more than six games, it's OK not to add any acronyms at all for the time being. This is still completely new, so I think it's best to start with the easy stuff first (articles covering only a few games) and move from there.

- Only images from confirmed-canon games are to be placed in the infobox. Since Hyrule Warriors isn't, it can't be put there. This was a decision made back when new Smash Bros. images were released around the time of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I believe (hence why Super Smash Bros. - I wondered why it was like that. It seemed to have no logic to it, and I figured that since this is a listing for an encyclopedia it should be in a comprehensive format, like alphabetical order. You're welcome to bring it up on the Material talk page if you would rather have it in the in-game order, but we may be able to have both. - Kryten, it sounds like you tried to implement one of The Goron Moron's sandboxes prematurely, is that right?
- If that's the case, then perhaps we could come to an agreement over Sandbox norms. While nothing on-wiki is really property of the contributor (except in legally delicate situations), I think it would be fair to agree to avoid direct interference with the work in question until or unless the creator declares that it's "fair game" (through the Sandbox or by publishing it themselves).
- Of course, these things may be imperfect and require revisions, which are fine to fix, but I would recommend going about it in a more diplomatic method. If it's something you feel should be rectified immediately, post to that sandbox's talk page and point out what you feel needs to be fixed. Or, you could wait until it's published to whack away at it (if the user is unquestionably inactive, there's nothing stopping you from making a copy of the sandbox and going from there on your own subpage).

Wondering about a new extension
I was wondering if you or someone else could install the Timed Media Handler extension to the wiki, as it would be very useful in being able to play video game music on pages. Right now, .ogg and the like lead to a link which has another link leading to the actual file, making it not very user-friendly. This becomes especially important on the Recurring Music in The Legend of Zelda Series page, where the .ogg files are pointless since the reader has to click through various links to get to the actual music. --The Retro Gamer (talk) 01:01, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
