::Oh, I see, thanks. Though Hard Drop Tetris Wiki seems to only have Hard Drop - Tetris Wiki:General disclaimer, which confused me a bit with the first paragraph, then later "All non-image content", though their main page only has the image of the logo (which, by the way, comes under what license if we were to save and upload it or the logo here on Zelda Wiki?). --<span style="color:#FFD500">KokoroSenshi</span> (Talk | contribs) 23:04, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

This might help, functionality-wise, if that template was what I think it was.KrytenKoro (talk) 13:43, 9 September 2014 (UTC)

Wii

I'm doing alot of my stuff on my Wii. Is that good? ToonLink13 23:09, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean editing with a Wii, any contribution is great. I would recommend using an actual computer instead, but you're welcome to edit with whatever device you have. :) - TonyT S C 22:01, 6 March 2015 (UTC)

sorry

I wasn't aware of that pop culture page, when I was thinking of the Zelda stuff in SU, i thought only the cameo pages was where it was supposed to go. Sorry for making a big deal out of it.
Ixbran (talk) 07:21, 6 March 2015 (UTC)

It's alright, Ixbran. I should've made it more clear that I intended to move it to another page (I hoped to get it added to the other page swiftly). But since that page should be exclusively for Nintendo-licensed products, perhaps we need to make that more clear, such as renaming the page to "Official Cameos of The Legend of Zelda" or some such? It should be much more clear than it is now, and I'm sorry for the confusion that it's caused. - TonyT S C 22:01, 6 March 2015 (UTC)

Wondering about a new extension

I was wondering if you or someone else could install the Timed Media Handler extension to the wiki, as it would be very useful in being able to play video game music on pages. Right now, .ogg and the like lead to a link which has another link leading to the actual file, making it not very user-friendly. This becomes especially important on the Recurring Music in The Legend of Zelda Series page, where the .ogg files are pointless since the reader has to click through various links to get to the actual music. --The Retro Gamer (talk) 01:01, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

We used to have one, but since hasn't been added again. Hopefully we'll have one again soon. For any technical issue you might find, please refer to our tech Justin instead. - Chuck * (Talk) 05:18, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

Hylian language

Hello Kasuto! Are you the same person as on www.kasuto.net? He designed an Hylian language like me, and i'd like to get in touch with him. Have a nice weekend! --Sahasrallah (talk) 11:17, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Hey there, I'm afraid to say that I'm not the same individual who's behind that website. It seems that you can email him here: kasuto_of_kataan@hotmail.com. I hope that helps! - TonyT S C 21:15, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

I feel there's a double standard here...

Characters like Anju's Grandmother, the Wounded Soldier, Banker, Professor, Laughing Men, Lord Chapu-Chapu, etc. should have articles created by splitting from the one they share it with.We have separate articles on Mr. Barten and Talon, King Zora and Toto, and the Carpet Merchant and Swordsman. This REALLY seems like a double standard to me.It makes no sense why certain characters get their own articles, but others do not. Make up your mind, I'm getting confused.

The least you can do is make this consistent. Make up your mind. They are distinct characters. Just because they are counterparts does not necessitate them sharing an article. If some of them share an article, all of them should (with the exception of Cremia and Romani, etc.). --I'm just a plain ol' Goron...Darth Nightmaricus (talk) 19:15, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Splitting the Bracelet pages?

So I take it we're splitting Goron's Bracelet, Gauntlets, Power Bracelet, and Power Glove into their own pages? -I'm just a plain ol' Goron...Darth Nightmaricus (talk) 22:32, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Yes, it was decided long ago that the page needed to be rewritten and split. Only after receiving some badgering today did I get around to it. - TonyT S C 23:30, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Coming from Zeldapedia

Hey, I was a pretty large editor on zeldapedia- I had around 2000 edits and invested a lot of time into it. I stopped around 2012ish, and am wanting to get back to collaborating information towards this great series. However, when I come back to it from an unbiased perspective, Zeldapedia can be really irksome to navigate. It's not a fault of zeldapedia though, it's a fault of wikia. The ads are so annoying, and the forced layout just doesn't help at all. Additionally it seems like Zelda wiki is far more linked into the zelda community being hugely representative of zeldauniverse as well as all the other nintendo wikis. I think I want to try helping out this wiki. I'm not sure if you were there during the issues that arose, but I remember there being a lot of tension between zeldawiki and Zeldapedia, but I want to put that off for now and if I like it here I think I'll stay. Here's hoping to a warmer welcome--Nullatrum (talk) 07:19, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Ah I see. Well you're quite welcome here. :) - TonyT S C 23:39, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

A Question

Hello Kasuto! I'm Hylian Writer, an Italian User. I work at Wikia Net and especially at Zeldapedia Italia, an Italian Zelda Wiki. My username on Wikia is Lord Ghiraim. Please, forgive my terrible English! Anyway, I'm a bit interested about creating a webstite and applying MediaWiki on it (I hope I wrote correctly)... If you want to help me, I need some informations. Number 1: which hosting did you use for this website (or maybe you used a personal server)? Number 2: How did you install MediaWiki? I have other questions... but you can answer me later. Thanks. --Hylian Writer 19:50, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

Hey there! That sounds great. To answer you:
 1. We are hosted on our own private servers. They are managed by Justin.
 2. I'm not certain how MediaWiki was installed for Zelda Wiki, as I personally didn't set this wiki up (I only direct it). However, I think you can find this information here on MediaWiki.org (here it is in Italian).
I hope that helps! If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. :D - TonyT S C 04:25, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for your help. Bye! --Hylian Writer 17:13, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

In effect, I would like to know how does Template:AH work. I tried to copy it on my wiki, with images too, but over there it doesn't work. I think this is because you used a special class (tooltipe) that appears in Template code but... can you explain me better? Thanks. --Hylian Writer 13:29, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

I'm working on getting your answer, but it might take a while, because I have to ask some other people. I have not forgotten you, I promise! - TonyT S C 14:57, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

No problem --Hylian Writer 17:24, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Navigation

Hi Kasuto! may i please copy your navigation thing? i mean, once i add it to my page i'll change it to link to my pages and have my name and just make it semi-unique. 'cos i really want a navigation panel and the ones wikipedia gives me are... well... just not right. for one thing they are too blocky. soo... may i please copy yours? TrueZelda (Talk) 04:42, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

There is nothing preventing other users from taking inspirational elements from another user's page, but I wouldn't recommend using mine, as it's incomplete and still in construction. It might have some broken coding.
Another user, Chuck, copied an earlier version, which you can see on his userpage. - TonyT S C 14:57, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

The Super Mario Wiki's 'Shroom cordially invites you...

Hello, I am Tucayo from the Super Mario Wiki's monthly publication, The 'Shroom. As you surely know, this February marks the 30th Anniversary of the Zelda series, and we would like to prepare something special, with your help. As a landmark collaboration between our wikis, we want to invite you to write something for us, it can be a review of a Zelda game, a ranking of your favorite games in the franchise, overall thoughts or memories, or maybe even something telling our users about ZeldaWiki! It could be anything to help us make our February issue Zelda-themed. The issue will be released February 20th, so we would really appreciate if we could have your submissions before February 13th. You can email them to mwshroom@gmail.com. Feel free to contact us for any questions you might have.

Thanks!

Other wiki screenshot image licensing

Hi, could you tell me how to find out what licensing to put for File:TW Layout.png and Inkipedia's (when it is uploaded)? (Also, the redirect here needs to be deleted) Thanks.

Oh, I see, thanks. --KokoroSenshi (Talk | contribs) 23:04, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
