Multiple edits
Hello! I noticed you've been making a lot of edits to the same page over a short time. Doing this puts a large strain on our server and clogs up the recent changes. So instead of saving a lot, use the "show preview" button next to the "save page" button. It'll allow you to view your edit for any mistakes so you don't have to make a lot of fixing edits or additional ones! :)User:Justin/sig 23:43, 29 September 2010 (EDT)
Sorry, but I tend to have a look at stuff and add stuff in a short period of time, I also put in some more pictures. Its to make my user page a bit better GFlame
P.S.: you don't need to put date and time on my talk page, but you can do it if you prefer
- Actually the time and date, the timestamp, is really expected as it helps tell when posts are made. A signature automatically includes it with four tildes, ~~~~ after your post. - Biggest tip to start out with is by looking at the Help Guide and browsing through all the topics. It should explain most things.User:Matt/sig 04:37, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
- If you want something better than the Help Guide, look at the source code for a bunch of articles. If you ever need to make a table/use a template/etc and have seen it used in a previous article, quickly navigate to it, copy the required code and modify it to suit your needs. Looking at other people's work is a great way to double check your work and encourages you to try new things without all the mistakes. User:Minion/sig 14:25, 30 September 2010 (EDT)
- I've actually been doing that before, thus the "Boss template" for my page (the bit at the side with the picture and the weaknesses ect..)
