Template:Place Ukuku Prairie is a large field in the center of Koholint Island.

Features and Overview

Along with Tal Tal Mountain Range, this Ukuku Prairie is the largest region of the island. It can only be accessed once Bottle Grotto has been completed, as it is blocked by boulders which require the Power Bracelet to lift. Since it is so large, it borders many other regions. To the north is the Koholint Prairie and Kanalet Castle. To the east is the Face Shrine. To the south is Martha's Bay, Pothole Field, and the Signpost Maze. To the west is Mabe Village.

Key Cavern, the resting place of the Sea Lily's Bell, is located here. A Warp Hole is located here, on the outskirts of Mabe Village. The Seashell Mansion is located here, next to the river which forms the eastern border of the prairie. Two Telephone Booths are found in this area, one near the Signpost Maze, and the other near Kanalet Castle. Eight Secret Seashells can be found in this area. There is also a cave containing a Piece of Heart. There is also a tree with a beehive in it, which Tarin foolishly pokes at with a Stick provided by Link. The bees chase Tarin off, allowing Link to take the Honeycomb.

There are no non-monster inhabitants of the prairie, other than the mysterious Spirit of the Mansion. However, given the fact that there are numerous paths, and that it lies between the sister cities of Mabe Village and Animal Village, it would seem that it would often be traversed in times when monsters were not everywhere.
