Overview
"The Royal Guard's Gear" is a Quest offered by Parcy, a Hylian traveler who resides in the Riverside Stable. When Link first meets her, she asks him if he has ever been to Hyrule Castle, explaining that it had fallen to ruin over 100 years ago.[2] Parcy used to sneak into the Castle herself looking for ancient treasure, only to stop more recently due to the environmental hazards that surround the Castle.[2] Though she doesn't visit the Castle now, she still thinks about the rare gear that belonged to the Royal Guard that she was never able to find herself.[2]
After speaking with Parcy, Link is tasked with "The Royal Guard's Gear" and must return with and show her any of the items in the Royal Guard's Series.[3] Upon seeing one of the items, she will recognize it and ask to see it.[4][5][6][7][8] Upon looking at the item, Parcy will thank Link and offer him a Gold Rupee in exchange for helping her.[9][10][11] She then resolves to find one of the items for herself, hinting at her intent to return to Hyrule Castle.[10] This completes the Quest.[12]
