I was having a look at some of the templates around here, and I noticed this one from Template:Boss. I was wondering, first, to check that I have it right,
- {{{1}}} — {{{2}}}
gives text ToolTip which shows 1st parameter, and on hover shows 3rd parameter (or just 1st parameter otherwise), then 2nd parameter after the dash.
- Would we replace {{#if:{{{3|}}}|{{{3|}}}|{{{1}}}}} with {{{3|{{{1}}}}}} instead?
- And I didn't realise it gave a ToolTip that shows Optional/Required until I went over here and looked at the source code, so I think Optional/Required should instead show in brackets like used on this very page's description instead:
- Parameter Name — (Required) This is the name of the parameter in question.
