Like Likes and Force Gem Likes

I don't think it's appropriate to place Like Likes and Force Gem Likes in the Aquatic Enemy template. I don't think I've ever seen a Like Like underwater other than MM, and Force Gem Likes are usually hidden underground. Dany36 22:19, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I agree... when I hear "Like Like", I don't think "Water." Maybe Worm(/vacuum)-type, if anything, but they were never underwater in OOT. —Embyr 75  ^--Talk-- 22:34, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I've added them here because the Like Like article state they usually reside in wet places and because they resemble Cnidaria in their polyp form (Sea Anemones for example); note that like Octoroks in the original Legend of Zelda they resemble aquatic creatures but appear only near water instead of underwater. In Master Quest some Like Like appears underwater inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly, and in Majora's Mask it is the only common enemy in series found frequently underwater. Hm...well, I think they may not be suitable for the aquatic enemies template because they aren't supposed to be aquatic, really. They do seem aquatic, but the intention was most likely not to make an aquatic enemy.—Justin^(Talk) 19:05, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Should Octorok be here?

Recently Octorok was added this list, and seeing as Octorok is part of the Octo family template should we have it here as well? I'm fine either way but I would like the communities input as well. --Heroofstuff 20:29, 5 June 2012 (EDT)

You mean placing members of the Octorok family in here as well? It would mean both templates share roughly eight enemies, but I don't think there's any reason not to. - Tony^{T S C} 22:34, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

Hardhat Beetle

Why is Hardhat Beetle here. I don't remember ever seeing them near or around water, as they were mostly in places with pits. --Planetbox 17:13, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

I think its because they are described as being "jellyfish-like" in the official Japanese guidebook of A Link to the Past. There's been no other reference to them being aquatic creatures, but there's been no evidence to support otherwise either. I think we should leave it the way it is. I dunno... The point of these templates is to facilitate the navigation between related pages. They're there for the sake of the readers. If the connection to the other entries in the nav template is not immediately evident, I don't think it should be there.
