Merge into one page

I propose merging the three songs of the goddesses into one page (perhaps titled Songs of the Goddesses) because these pages are small and...well, I don't see them getting bigger. They don't really serve much purpose other than opening the trial gates once.User:Justin/sig 16:32, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Merging sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure about the name. To my knowledge, "Songs of the Goddesses" is not an official term, and I'd rather we avoid use of conjectural titles if possible. The official guide refers to each of them as being "sacred songs"... There's no caps, so it's more of an attribution than an actual title, but it seems fitting because the Tears of Farore, Nayru, and Din are collectively known as the "Sacred Tears" and the three flames are collectively known as the "Sacred Flames". So how about "Sacred Songs"? It's still semi-conjectural, but... — Hylian King ^[*] 17:32, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

I'd go with merging them into a page titled "Sacred Songs" but shall we add the Song of the Hero on that page (as it's the song of the forth dragon, Levias, as well as necessary to open the Skyloft Silent Realm) or just keep it as it is? User:Darkness/sig 17:35, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I guess so. And I wouldn't say it's fully canon, but if we're going to merge these pages it's the best we have... I guess it comes down to what we think is worse: having a few stubby pages, or one decent page with a title that's barely canon. — Hylian King ^[*] 18:25, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

I like the basic design. It needs to be touched up a bit (your wording is a little poor in some places, like They are known as Nayru's Wisdom, Farore's Courage, and Din's Power, and the Song of the Hero.), but I think it's a good format. The thing is, it's usually a good idea to wait a little while to give people the chance to comment. If you merge them too soon, and it turns out most users would rather have them split, everything is going to end up being reverted. No worries, though, I don't think that's going to be the case here. But just know that it's usually a good idea to wait for more than two or three people to comment before doing things such as merging or splitting pages. :) — Hylian King ^[*] 15:54, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

It's all right. Now that you've already done all the work, we'll leave it as is. If a bunch of people pop in and say they'd rather keep the songs split, though, then we won't have a choice. But, like I said, I doubt that'll happen. — Hylian King ^[*] 16:00, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

Hyperlinks to the goddesses' pages

I notice that there aren't any links here to the pages of the 3 Goddesses, and so far in Farore (Goddess) I have not seen any links to this page...

Should there be?
