Merge with Sealed Grounds?[]

Hey guys, I was just wondering if it might be possible to merge this page and the Sealed Grounds page? Both pages acknowledge that they're one and the same, only differing due to the time periods. It might save room by merging the two, and for clarification the Sealed Grounds page could be edited to include "Past" and "Present" sections. Teekay 19:13, 1 June 2012 (EDT)

The Sealed Grounds is already divided in "past" and "present" sections, conveniently. This page is stubby and splitting up the information on two pages just makes things more of a hassle for readers. I really don't see any reason why the two shouldn't be merged, like on the Sealed Temple page. — Hylian King [*] 20:20, 1 June 2012 (EDT)
Oh goodness, thanks for pointing that out... I didn't even look at that. I feel a bit silly >.<. But in any case, that should make it very easy to merge the two if others agree :) Teekay 21:54, 1 June 2012 (EDT)
I definitely agree. It would make a lot more sense that way, as well as get rid of this horrible, stubby article that we have at the moment. There's no reason why they shouldn't be merged. Dannyboy601Talk 06:20, 2 June 2012 (EDT)
No, there's no reason to merge this article into the one for the Sealed Grounds. Such a merger would go against time-travel precedents already in place where the name of essentially the same area is different between the times; if we merged this, then there'd be a case to merge Fairies' Woods and Deku Forest, or Yoll Graveyard and Sea of No Return. If anything, we should split Sealed Temple and Temple of Hylia, then carefully rewrite all four articles to avoid duplication of information (some information on the Sealed Grounds page would fit better on a page for the Temple of Hylia)...--Shiningpikablu252 11:45, 2 June 2012 (EDT)
I see what you're getting at, but those are very different cases. Yoll Graveyard and the Sea of No Return are very different locations, featuring a different geography, dungeon, and items, whereas Hylia's Realm and the Sealed Grounds are almost geographically identical, and neither of them contain any landmarks that make them distinguishable from each other. The only thing that differs between the two time periods are the events that occur there, not the actual location itself. Dannyboy601Talk 13:01, 2 June 2012 (EDT)
And the name of course. Might I add that Lynna City and Lynna Village are on the same page. Also, the merging/splitting of any of pages we've mentioned has never really been discussed until now. Seems to me like there aren't any time travel precedents in place; we're setting them as we speak. — Hylian King [*] 17:45, 2 June 2012 (EDT)

Soooo, it seems this has kinda been forgotten about. Anyone else want to inject their opinion? :) Teekay 18:38, 29 June 2012 (EDT)

I'm in support of the merge. - TonyT S C 19:00, 29 June 2012 (EDT)

Indeed, it seems pointless to give the the same location to different pages simply because it's name changed at some point. For example, the Temple of Hylia/Sealed Temple is all one page despite the name change, which means the wiki is contradicting itself, a lack or organization. It should also be noted that as well as them being the exact same place with a name change, the Sealed Grounds article already covers everything the Hylia's Realm article covers and even specifies that it is also known as Hylia's Realm. Her Grace 19:04, 29 June 2012 (EDT)

I support the merger as far as specific location goes, but Hylia's Realm seems to be the name for the whole world in that time period and that was simply the only location you see during that time. i say move the current info but rewrite this page in that light Astroninja1 19:08, 29 June 2012 (EDT)

I am inclined to agree with this. "Hylia's Realm" seems more to be a name for the entire world that would one day become Hyrule, not just the area we briefly saw that becomes the Sealed Grounds. I am of the mind that the information on this page probably ought to be merged with the Sealed Grounds page, but the name "Hylia's Realm" should be included on the page for Hyrule as to what its previous names included. I do not believe it was ever intended by the game developers that the name "Hylia's Realm" was only supposed to apply to the area that becomes the Sealed Grounds. That's just my opinion though.
