- Nah, they're pretty different. I would be interested in seeing if those mask-like things did match up with anything else though.. - I'm a bit skeptical, like Ember here, about this symbol. I definitely see the resemblance between the two, as this symbol not only appears in these two games, but throughout the majority of Zelda titles in the franchise! In my opinion, the symbol is deliberately placed in the games, having cropped up so frequently from game to game, the only trouble is... we still are unable to decipher it's meaning! - This just shocked me. I'm playing through Wind Waker right now, entered Dragon Roost Cavern, and what do I see smack in the beginning? Something very similar to this symbol.. - Not only that, but it's on Vaati's tiara in the official art from The Minish Cap, and a similar, elongated design is seen on the Phantom Hourglass itself, on its brim. Wild stuff!
