The only boss in the well is the Dead hand so i don't see why we can move it to the boss area. - Garo Ninja

Anybody know how you skip most of the dungeon and do it in 10 minutes? It'd be cool to be able to write that out or link to a page that explains it, and I'd do it if I knew what they were talking about. User:Italiangenius91/sig 03:40, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Could we get a better image? How about one of the main room. An image of the entrance doesn't really say much about the dungeon. Snakeboss14 00:36, 23 October 2009 (UTC) And BTW, a Piece of Heart? Which?

Proposed name change

I was searching for this page under the name of "Well of Three Features," which is, after all, the well's name. It says so on the sign by the well. I'm not really sure why the page is called "Kakariko Well" when even in the intro paragraph it says that it's the Well of Three Features. I think that the page name should be changed. (I didn't initially know it had a name until I managed to get it to drain; after that I read the sign for no reason, and voila! I learned what to call it.) ----Taka 19:34, 14 April 2011 (EDT)

Sorry about that! "Kakariko Well" is an unsourced name, isn't it... I'd definitely support changing it over. On the flipside, I'd estimate that most players simply call it either the dungeon's title, "Bottom of the Well", "Kakariko Well", or simply just the "Well". But considering that this article is about the well itself, and only has one officially sourced name, appearing as a sign at the entrance to it, I'd say moving would be just fine. We can redirect the other common names for it anyway. Good catch! User:Cipriano/sig 19:59, 14 April 2011 (EDT)
EDIT: The staff found a reference in an official Nintendo Power magazine (taken from Nintendo's mouth), that refers to the well as the Kakariko Well. Because this name is now official, and not only encompasses the Well of Three Features but also the dungeon beyond, the name is much more suitable. Thanks for bringing this to mass attention! I'll see ya around the wiki,Takanuva :) User:Cipriano/sig 20:58, 14 April 2011 (EDT)

My first official contribution to the world of wiki! :D --Taka 17:23, 17 April 2011 (EDT)

Hopefully there will be many more to come ;) — Hylian King [*] 20:59, 17 April 2011 (EDT)

Move to Bottom of the Well

I'd argue that "Bottom of the Well" is the dungeon name, and not the same as the name of the well itself. That's just the entrance. Plus it comes up in big fat letters when you enter the dungeon, as do all other dungeon titles, so I don't think this one location should be any different. Now, if we had an article just about the well in Kakariko, that's different, but this is a dungeon article. User:Fizzle/sig 14:43, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

Agreed. — Hylian King [*] 15:10, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Same. --Dany36 19:47, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
It's one of those damn pages again, so I can't do it myself. Really wish this glitch wouldn't happen so often. User:Fizzle/sig 00:16, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
Sorry about that. As I understand it, 'tis a failure of MediaWiki. You can't move a page on top of another if the target page has a history (if it was ever something more than a redirect). — Hylian King [*] 00:54, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

Optional

This mini dungeon is not optional. You need the Lens of Truth to see the Phantom Guide in the Haunted Wasteland. Why does it say it's optional? OcarinaMaster (talk) 14:46, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Because it is. It is possible to navigate through the desert without the Lens. Difficult, yes, but still possible. Champion of Nayru (talk) 16:04, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
