Ball and Chain Soldier's Information[]
Added a bit of info on their appearance in FSA. Can't add more due to someone currently borrowing my copy. Help would be appreciated. Dinosaur bob 22:36, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
COMMON enemy!!!!!!!![]
its so freaking rare!!!!!Dragonstetraforce 22:11, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- But it appears in quite a few games - around six or seven out of 14. Technically, you could say the same about Darknuts. It's not necessarily that you see them all the time within the game - it's more that you see them in many games. —Ando (talk) 00:02, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Japanese name[]
Is this name, "鉄球兵士", confirmed? I can't find this exact spelling in anything related to the Zelda enemy. Jeangabin 12:46, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- Just for clarification, it was used in the official Triforce of the Gods guide. Fizzle 14:16, 17 November 2011 (EST)
Trooper or Soldier?[]
So the most "up to date" name is Ball and Chain Soldier, in The Minish Cap, while in A Link to the Past it was called the Ball and Chain Trooper. Should the page be moved to Soldier, as it is the most up-to-date name? This would tie it in with all the other Soldier enemies and its Japanese name. Obviously we'd still mention both names. ※Fizzle (talk) 14:29, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
- I'd agree with that. — Hylian King [*] 18:25, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
Gold and Grey Ball and Chain Soldiers are identical. The reason for the color differences is because of how the sprite react to the rom Palette ID.
