Slippery Station is a location in Spirit Tracks.[1]

Features and Overview[]

Located in the northeast section of the Snow Realm, the station is only accessible after Link receives a Force Gem from Steem in the Snow Sanctuary for bringing him a vessel from Papuchia Village.

As its name suggests, the inside of the Slippery Station has a Skating Rink, which consists of an icy, slippery floor with several turns. Across this rink are three locked entrances that can only be opened by pressing a switch, and behind each door is a treasure chest. There are three switches that pertain to three different levels: Amateur, Pro, and Champion. By pressing one of those switches, the door that belongs to that certain switch will open for a limited time. Link must reach the door before it closes to be able to reach the treasure and open its contents.[2] The trick lies in that, for example, the Amateur course has fewer turns and a shorter distance to travel than the Champion course. As such, Link must time his spins correctly so as to not make such a wide turn and cut down in his time.
