Template:HW Stage Skyloft is a stage featured in Hyrule Warriors. It contains the Scenario "Land in the Sky" in Legend Mode. In the Master Quest DLC pack, it also contains "The Demon Lord," the fourth Scenario in Cia's Tale.

Scenarios

Land in the Sky

With the land of Hyrule merged with lands from across the ages as a result of the Gate of Souls, the Hyrulean Forces split up to enter each land and close their respective Gates. Link, leading a fraction of the Hyrulean Forces, went through one of the potrals and entered the land in the sky, Skyloft. However they soon find that already the land has become overrun by the Dark Forces led by Volga and Ghirahim, who were fighting the floating island's own Force, the Skyloft Force. Although greatly outnumbered, Link and the Hyrulean Forces join sides with the Skyloft Forces to save the island from destruction.

As the combined Forces bravely enter the battle, they quickly find themselves overwhelmed by the growing Dark Forces. Proxi recognizes Volga as the dragon knight from before, and encourages everyone to not give up. In the midst of their battle, a Skyloft Captain shouts that the Dark Forces have stolen Levias's soup, which is vital to their victory as only Levias can connect the island's collapsed pathways. Link hurries to the Goddess Statue to retrieve the stolen soup. As Link nears the Statue Keep, he hears a voice beckoning him to come. When he arrives, he finds the Goddess Sword in its pedestal, and the being Fi emerges from the blade and introduces herself. Although Link is not her master, she decides to consider him one, and offers her service to him and the Hyrulean Forces.[1] She insists her assistance is necessary to his success, and Link agrees. At the Statue Keep, Link and Fi find the stolen Pumpkin Soup. Because the Skyloftians are injured, they require someone else to bring Levias the soup. Fi promises to deliver the soup to him. The Skyloft Captain also asks if they could help their troops in the west, who are stranded in the Knight Academy Keep.

Link helps escort Fi outside the Statue Keep, where she leaves the soup for Levias. The soup's aroma draws Levias from the sky, who pushes a tiny, floating island to serve as a bridge between the main islands at the bidding of Fi. With the islands connected, the Hyrulean Forces hurry to the aid of the stranded Skyloftians. Their advantage angers Ghirahim, who emerges to steal the Allied Base. Fi leaves to assist their allies in the Knight Academy, and asks Link to stop the enemy commander. When Fi arrives, the Skyloft Captain there asks if she could deliver the soup to the western edge. She complies and carries the soup, but faces the Dark Forces along the way. Link defeats Ghirahim, who then angrily retreats, and he hurries back to assist Fi. Eventually Fi reaches her destination, and uses the soup to lure out Levias again, who pushes another tiny island to bridge the gap between the third island. With the Enemy Base now accessible, the Hyrulean Forces proceed ahead.

However with the lands now bridged, Volga retaliates as he advances towards the Allied Base. Link hurries to put a stop to him. However just when he is about to be defeated, Volga regains his health and grows in strength and Morale. Should Link continue fighting him, Volga will only regain his health again.[2] Levias voices how if only he were at full strength, he would crush Volga himself. Fi provides a suggestion that they go to the Great Fairy and ask her to increase Levias's power. She quickly advances to the Fairy Fountain, however Volga reaches the Goddess Statue, forcing her to stall him and leaving Link to attend to the Great Fairy. Enemy reinforcements appear around the fountain in an attempt to prevent him. Link defeats the Aeralfos there, thus opening the fountain gates. Inside Link summons the Great Fairy, who sends her Fairies to deliver extra Pumpkin Soup to Levias. The soup reinvigorates Levias, and he creates a blast of lightning that shocks Volga enough to weaken him. Link returns to fight Volga again, and this time defeats the dragon knight, resulting in victory for the Hyrulean and Skyloftian Forces. Ghirahim however, watching from afar, devises a plan and begins to possess the Skyloftian Captains.[3][4]

After the Scenario is completed, Fi and her weapon, the Goddess Blade, becomes available for use.

The Demon Lord

After forcefully enlisting Zant into her army, Cia sensed another powerful entity in another era, this time coming from the land of Skyloft. When she and her Dark Forces arrived, she found that yet another two Forces were already combating each other - the Forces led by Ghirahim and the Skyloft Forces. Fi had fought alongside the Skyloftians, but the Forces of Skyloft were overwhelmed by the vast army of monsters and the rampage of The Imprisoned. Although Cia cared nothing for the desperate villagers, she sought Ghirahim's power for her own and formulated a plan. She entered the battle field, posing as an ally to the Skyloftians, and waited for the right opportunity to present itself.

As Cia's Forces enter, Volga informs her that the demon Ghirahim's power poses them little threat, but the giant beast he commands would be a great challenge. Wizzro instead states that they will simply use the island locals to weaken it for them. In the mean time, Cia says they must first win the trust of the islanders and leaves to capture either the Central Square or the S. Rockface Keeps. Volga eventually reaches the locals and, begrudgingly, offers his assistance to them. The Skyloft Captains, unsuspecting to their ploy, graciously accept their help. With the newly formed alliance, the two Forces begin working together to combat Ghirahim's Forces. Fi tells them that they must prioritize the defeat of the demon and The Imprisoned above all else. Ghirahim immediately retaliates to the advances of the new Force by having his army in the west target the Allied Base, and accompanies them as well. He is stopped by Cia as they engage in battle, and is ultimately defeated. Ghirahim senses a strong presence within the sorceress and wonders of its source (implying he can sense Ganondorf's presence in her),[5] but is forced to temporarily retreat. With Ghirahim out of the way, Cia leaves to fight The Imprisoned next. She eventually defeats the monster, and Ghirahim then shortly reappears. He is impressed by Cia's incredible feat of strength, and offers to join their army. Volga however is suspicious by how willingly Ghirahim offered himself. Cia does not care, and with Ghirahim on their side, says they no longer have any use for the Skyloft Forces.

The Dark Forces then turn on the Skyloftians and begin attacking them. Fi quickly retreats to the Rogue Base, and commands all troops to fight back with full force. Her strength increases as her Forces prepare to fight back with more reinforcements. Volga says that Fi is the only one keeping them together, and defeating her should make the Force crumble. The Skyloft Keeps open as enemy Forces pour out. Volga recommends that they conquer their Keeps to stop the inflow of reinforcements, though the Skyloftians use this as an opportunity to advance towards the Allied Base while its generals are distracted. The Dark Forces however are successful in capturing their Keeps, and the Skyloftians lose Morale. With their final Keep captured, Fi also starts to lose hope and loses her former strength.

With this new opportunity, Cia infiltrates the Rogue Base and attacks Fi. After Fi is defeated, the Skyloftians are forced to retreat and Cia is victorious. Ghirahim bows to her strength and offers to conquer the rest of the era's world for her. Fi can do nothing but lie in wait until a Hero arrives to save them.
