Shards of Farosh's Horn are Items in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Uses[]

Shards of Farosh's Horn can be gathered by shooting at the horns of the dragon Farosh, who can be found at Lake Hylia, Lake Floria, and the Gerudo Highlands. The Shard will glow as it falls to the ground.

Meals cooked using a Shard of Farosh's Horn will have a buff lasting thirty minutes. At the Kochi Dye Shop, Shards of Farosh's Horn can be used to create Light Yellow Dye.

Several Armor require Shards of Farosh's Horn to be upgraded at a Great Fairy Fountain. One Shard and two Lynel Guts are needed to upgrade the Barbarian Armor and Fierce Deity Boots to their final tiers. Two Shards of Farosh's Horn are needed to upgrade the Champion's Tunic to its second tier. Lastly, two Shards of Farosh's Horn and one Star Fragment are required to upgrade the Cap of the Wild to its fourth and final tier.
