Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Rock Salt can be found by destroying Ore Deposits across Hyrule Kingdom. It can also be purchased from the Goron Gusto Shop, the Coral Reef, and the travelling merchant Mezer. Though it can't be eaten, it can be used to make meals in a Cooking Pot.[1] It can also be an ingredient to make Peach Dye at the Kochi Dye Shop.

Rock Salt is required in order to Cook Fish Pie, a Crab Omelet with Rice, Crab Risotto, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Cream of Vegetable Soup, Creamy Meat Soup, Creamy Seafood Soup, a Gourmet Meat and Rice Bowl, a Meat and Rice Bowl, Meat Pie, Monster Rice Balls, a Mushroom Omelet, Mushroom Risotto, a Prime Meat and Rice Bowl, Salmon Risotto, Salt-Grilled Crab, Salt-Grilled Fish, Salt-Grilled Meat, Salt-Grilled Greens, Salt-Grilled Gourmet Meat, Salt-Grilled Mushrooms, Salt-Grilled Prime Meat, Seafood Fried Rice, Seafood Paella, a Vegetable Omelet, Vegetable Risotto, Veggie Cream Soup, and Wheat Bread.
