Template:Dungeon The Pumaag Nitae Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name A Minor Test of Strength,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

Pumaag Nitae Shrine is located at the border of the Pagos Woods in the Faron Grasslands and the Finra Woods in West Necluda. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Pumaag Nitae.[2]

Themes and Navigation

Pumaag Nitae Shrine features a large, central chamber which acts as an arena. As Link approaches the center of the arena, a Guardian Scout II wielding an Guardian Sword and a Guardian Shield will rise from a pit to challenge Link. In order to reach Pumaag Nitae, Link must defeat the Guardian Scout II to cause a portcullis separating him from the Monk to rise. Once Link has done so, Pumaag Nitae will give him a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,[3] and afterwards will wish Link well before fading away.[4]

A Treasure Chest behind the portcullis contains a Boomerang.
