Template:Enemy

Podoboo Towers are enemies in Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. They are a variation of the Podoboo, which are directly based on the Lava Bubble enemies (previously known as Podoboos) of the Mario series. Unlike regular Podoboos, which jump out of fire or pools of lava, Podoboo Towers are pillar forms of the enemy with fireball body segments.

Characteristics and Weaknesses

Podoboo Towers live in or near boiling pools of lava. When they emerge, they stay in place and occasionally release fireballs at Link as their only method of attack. In certain areas with narrow pathways between lava pools, their attack can prove more dangerous as it can push Link into the lava. After a short while, they will sink back from whence they came, but will soon reemerge from the same place and commence their attack again. Unlike normal Podoboos, Podoboo Towers can easily be defeated with a few simple Sword slashes. However, some can be hard to reach as a result of living in pools of lava.

In Oracle of Ages, Podoboo Towers infest the burning ruins of Symmetry City in the present. In Oracle of Seasons, they appear in the subterranean land of Subrosia, predominately at Lava Lake. In Subrosia, digging up earth with the Shovel may sometimes dig up a Podoboo Tower.
