Pickaxes are recurring Objects and Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][citation needed]

Location and Uses[]

Breath of the Wild[]

Pickaxes are a tool use by Goron miners. They are common in the Southern Mine, where they are used in the mining operations of the Goron Group Mining Company.[2] However, after leaving the Company, Greyson will use a Pickaxe while clearing out ground for Tarrey Town.[3] During "A Brother's Roast", Link will find Gonguron collapsed with a Pickaxe in his hand after attempting to mine the bedrock in Gorko Tunnel.[4] After regaining his strength, Gonguron is able to destroy the bedrock,[5] which reveals Kayra Mah Shrine.[6]
