The Palmorae Ruins are a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview[]

The Palmorae Ruins are located in the south of East Necluda. Inside the Ruins, Garini is standing nearby. If Link talks to Garini, he will mention that he is trying to decipher the stone monument in front of him and will ask Link to find Monument Shards that broke off after an earthquake and show pictures of them to Garini.[2][3] This starts the Shrine Quest, "A Fragmented Monument".

The stonework and architecture of these ruins is typical of the Zonai.

Nomenclature[]

The Palmorae Ruins derive their name from palm trees.

I recently realized that there is writing engraved on this stone monument... So now I'm trying to figure out what exactly is written here." — Garini (Breath of the Wild)

They'll be scattered all around. I think the fragments had the same kind of script carved into them... If you find a fragment, please draw a picture of it and bring it to me. I'll be here finishing my examination of this stone monument! ...Oh, right. And the words on the stone monument glow with an eerie light at night... That should make them easier to find." — Garini (Breath of the Wild)
