Mii Swordfighters are recurring characters in the Super Smash Bros. series.
Biography[]
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U[]
Mii Swordfighters are one of three types of customizable fighters introduced in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. Their appearances are based on Mii characters created by the player, and are further customized with a variety of unlockable Mii Outfits and Mii Headgear. Mii Swordfighters are the only type of Mii fighter that can wear the Link Outfit, which equips the Mii with the Master Sword; all Mii Headgear can be worn by all three types of Mii fighters.
One of the Mii Swordfighter's possible Up special moves, the Hero's Spin, functions identically to Link's Spin Attack; when performed on the ground, the move can be charged for greater power, while in the air, it will rise upward and finish with a powerful upward slash. The Mii Swordfighter's "down" Taunt is a slower version of Link's, while its Back aerial attack is the same as Toon Link's.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]
Mii Swordfighters return in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with several changes to their moves. Their Dash attack now closely resembles Toon Link's, their Back aerial attack leans slightly for added reach, and their Down aerial attack is a spinning variation of Link's Down Thrust that can connect with multiple hits. The "down" Taunt has also been sped up to match Link's. Mii Swordfighters can wear all of the Mii Outfits based on The Legend of Zelda series except for Skull Kid's Outfit, and can wear all available Mii Headgear, including the Ancient Helm, Skull Kid's Hat, and the Yiga Clan Mask.
