Lynel Bows are Items in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Location and Uses
Hyrule Compendium Entry
Lynel Bows are Bows used by regular Lynels, particularly in the Gerudo Highlands and Lanayru Great Spring. They become scarce as Lynels tier up. However, in Master Mode, Blue-Maned Lynels will use them instead, but they will still disappear with Blue-Maned Lynels. The only exception is the Lynel on Ploymus Mountain, which is always a regular Lynel. Therefore, it may become the only source of Lynel Bows in the world as the game goes on.
Lynels make these Bows from rough metal.[1] They can fire multiple Arrows at a time, most commonly three, but occasionally one can be found that fires five Arrows at once.[1] Lynel Bows are part of the Lynel Gear equipment archetype, a series of Weapons created and utilized by Lynels.[2] They are known to reflect the vicious nature of Lynel Gear and are ideal for taking down fast-moving targets.[1]
Being made of metal, Lynel Bows conduct Electricity and will attract Lightning if equipped during a Thunderstorm. They will also sink if dropped in water, but can be picked up and manipulated with the Magnesis Rune. Finally, they do not burn if exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
