Iona is a character in Ripened Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love, and one of Tingle's love interests.
Biography
Iona works at the seed store in Vegetable Village. Tingle first meets her in Page 6 at the entrance of the village. When she sees Tingle, she runs off, and lock herself within the seeds store, Tingle will not be able to further interact with her until Page 7, where he can give her gifts in a Love Push. After her first heart is unlocked, Tingle and friends ask her for a plant-based fuel required for the Tinliner to work. She accepts to help them harvest the Gasoringo fruits, however, Tingle must need to find dust from the wings of the perfect butterfly as fertilizer, as well as the actual Seeds of Gasoringo and proper soil to plant them.
After some events, Iona is finally able to plant the seeds, but, due to an error with the fertilizer, the tree grows extremely fast, transforming it into a monster. Once the battle is over, Iona thanks the group for saving the village, and gives them the fuel for the Tinliner. She stays at the train station, and is seen again in Page 14 at the royal dance.
