It includes all previously released content from Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends, including every map, character, mission, and all downloadable content.[6] This puts the amount of playable Warriors at a total of 29.[7] The game will feature 1080p HD resolution in TV mode and 2 player multiplayer on one Nintendo Switch console both in TV mode and on the device itself.[8] It can be played with a single Joy-Con controller.[8]

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition was announced in a Nintendo Direct Mini on January 11, 2018. Like Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends, it was developed by Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd.[1]

Release

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be released in Spring 2018 for North America and Europe and on March 22, 2018 for Japan.[10][11][3]
