Template:Character Hint Ghosts are characters in A Link Between Worlds.[1] They are ghosts that give hints on solving puzzles at the cost of a Play Coin.[2][3]

Biography

Hint Ghosts are invisible ghosts that appear in many areas in the Overworld and inside of Dungeons and Treasure Hunter Caves, usually close to a puzzle. Their appearance resembles a blue question mark, wearing glasses and reading a book.[4] They can only be seen and spoken to by wearing the Hint Glasses obtained from the Fortune-Teller in Hyrule.[5] At the cost of one Play Coin, the Ghost will refer to its book to give Link a hint on how to solve a nearby puzzle.
