The Graveyard Key is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Location and Uses[]

Oracle of Ages[]

The Graveyard Key is found in a secret cave in the southern part of Yoll Graveyard in Oracle of Ages. It is needed to open a gate in the northern part of the Graveyard to access the eastern part and reach the Spirit's Grave.

The Minish Cap[]

Dampé the gravedigger gives the Graveyard Key to Link while he is traveling through the Royal Valley in The Minish Cap.[2] As Link steps out of Dampé's house, a Takkuri steals it. By knocking the Key loose from a Tree in the same area, Link is able to reacquire it and open the locked gate.

  2. "My name's Dampé. I'm the gravedigger here. What can I do for you? What's that? You say you were called here by the ghost of a king? That'd be the ancient king of Hyrule who rests here. I've seen him myself. Well, if the king has called you, I can't see any reason not to let you in... Here, take this graveyard key." — Dampé (The Minish Cap)
