The Goron Tunic, also known as the Heat-Resistant Tunic, is a recurring item in The Legend of Zelda series. It is visually identical to the Kokiri Tunic, except that it is red and can only be worn as an adult. It is made from Dodongo scales and Bomb Flower fibers.
Location and Uses
The Goron Tunic is able to protect its wearer from extreme heat. It is essential when exploring places such as the Death Mountain Crater and the Fire Temple. While wearing it, Link will no longer burn from fire-based traps and attacks and will be able to travel on tiles of lava, allowing him to take certain shortcuts safely. He will also gain special resistance from floor spikes and poison water. The tunic can be stolen by a Like Like if Link is still wearing it when the Like Like spits him out.
