Template:Infobox Place The Forest of Spirits is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview

The Forest of Spirits is a heavily-wooded area in the north of the Great Plateau that encircles Hopper Pond. It is lush with wildlife, inhabited by various Creatures as well as a plethora of plant-based Materials. Various ruins sit within the Forest of Spirits. A stone tower can be found at the Forest's northwestern reaches. An uninhabited camp containing a Campfire and a Cooking Pot can be found in the eastern reaches of the Forest of Spirits. An enormous hollow log with the top rotted away can be found near the center of the Forest of Spirits. North of this log, Link can find a Monster Stronghold. A Stone Talus can be found in the rocky clearing in the eastern portion of the Forest.

Link can find several Tree Branches littered across the Forest floor. A Traveler's Bow, bundles of Arrows, and Torches can be found scattered around the campsite on the eastern portion of the Forest of Spirits. A Rusty Broadsword can be found in the western portion of the clearing in the middle of the Forest.

Inside the hollow log, Link can find a tall, yellow flower. If Link tries to approach this flower, it will vanish, and reappear a short distance away. After it does this several times, a Korok will emerge from it and give Link a Korok Seed in return for finding him. Another Korok can be found by lifting the Rock on the top of the small, strangely shaped hill. A third Korok can be found underneath a Rock hidden under a pile of leaves under the roots of a Tree to the east of the aforementioned camp. To reach the Rock, Link must destroy the leaves by cutting them, blowing them away with a Korok Leaf, setting fire to them, or blowing them up with a Remote Bomb.

A stone Treasure Chest containing an Opal can be found in the Monster Stronghold. Link cannot access the Treasure Chest until the enemies surrounding it have been eliminated. A second stone Treasure Chest containing a bundle of 10 Arrows can be found atop the tower at the Forest's far western edge.
