The Gravekeeper's Diary is an object in Ocarina of Time.[1]

Location and Uses[]

The diary is found in Dampé's house in the Kakariko Graveyard. The text in the diary differs depending on whether it is read by child or adult Link.

During the past, Link can only read it at night while Dampé is in the graveyard digging. The diary mentions that Dampé found a treasure while digging a hole.[2] During the future, after Dampé's death, his shed becomes open for Link to go inside freely. The diary now mentions that whoever reads it must enter Dampé's grave, whereupon he will let them have his treasure.[3]
