Description
A spear haphazardly carved from a large tree branch. It looks like its original intent was for skewering meat and cooking it, but it does have some combat merit as well.

West Necluda
Hyrule Field
Properties
Atk 2

Boko Spears are Weapons that can commonly found in Hyrule Field and West Necluda. They are used primarily by regular Bokoblins in these areas. They belong to to the Bokoblin Gear equipment archetype, which includes all Weapons created by Bokoblins.[3] Carved from Tree Branches, these Spear are also used by Bokoblins to skewer and Cook Food.[1] The Hyrule Compendium recommends throwing them if they are close to breaking.[1] Scanning the Breath of the Wild Series Bokoblin amiibo with the amiibo Rune has a chance of spawning a Treasure Chest containing a Boko Spear.

Being made of wood, Boko Spears will float on Water if they are dropped. They will also burn if exposed to a Scorching Climate or Fire, which is a tactic used by Bokoblins near Campfires. Finally, they do not conduct Electricity or attract Lightning during a Thunderstorm, and they cannot be picked up with the Magnesis Rune.

Tears of the Kingdom

In Tears of the Kingdom, the Boko Spear has been renamed to Sturdy Long Stick.

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Boko Spears reappear in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, once again being wielded by Bokoblins, starting with The Battle of Hyrule Field Scenario. A Boko Spear can be obtained for use by Link, as well as upgraded and enhanced, but is outclassed by other Weapons.
