Breath of the Wild

Hey there, when adding a link to the new game, please use the BotW template instead of the full name, as it automatically adds the subtitle in italics. - Chuck * (Talk) 16:24, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Enemy template edits

Before making any further edits to the Enemy template, please consider discussing any potential changes on the template's talk page so an agreement can be reached. While the template is a bit crowded, many of the proposed changes have been unnecessary, namely the addition to bosses. We already have a boss template, and this template is meant to be used for common enemies. Thank you. - Midoro (T C) 16:53, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

Template:FileInfo

Please properly fill in the FileInfo fields for File:Goron Forces.png that you recently uploaded. The Type is "Render", the game is "HW" and it's a "Copyright"ed image. I do not know the source, but appropriating images without attribution isn't acceptable, so it is something that you must fill in yourself. - TonyT S C 02:56, 24 June 2016 (UTC)

Rusted Guardian

I see in this edit, you added "Rusted Guardian" as an enemy. Could you tell me where you got this name? - TonyT S C 07:39, 26 June 2016 (UTC)

The name isn't offical, it's just that the Guardians are rusted and as such act diffrently, I guess I should add a fan made name tag to it. Gopherdude12 (talk) 16:44, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
To the contrary, these names should not be used. I'm fixing every instance of it. - TonyT S C 00:35, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

Enemy Plurality

Just a head's up: the plural of "Stalfos" and "Armos" are not "Stalfoses" and "Armoses". They are simply "Stalfos" and "Armos", like irregular plural nouns. This has been a recurring issue, so I thought I should let you know directly. - TonyT S C 21:22, 2 July 2016 (UTC)

Keese Files

When uploading a file, please use the proper naming convention and make sure to crop it so there are no unnecessary blank spaces in it. We would really appreciate if you could fix these issues on you recently uploaded Keese files. - Chuck * (Talk) 03:36, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

Keese updates

I'm not sure if you already noticed, but I already said in Keese's talk page that I would handle the page splits and updates. I would prefer it if I handle the work myself, as there is a certain format and quality standard that has to be followed. I could incorporate some of your own edits, but I would prefer it if I could do the rest myself. Thanks. - Midoro (T C) 05:49, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

Okay, I was just trying to help speed things up, but I guess you probably should do this being more experienced than I am, thank you for letting me know. Gopherdude12 (talk) 14:20, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

Mainspacing sandbox edits

While I appreciate your enthusiasm, please do realize that my sandbox is for me to manage. I did not give you permission to mainspace my sandbox update, nor was I ready to mainspace it as I wanted to finish the other Keese pages beforehand. The under construction template was there for a reason. Please be more courteous and do not edit or mainspace another person's sandbox page without asking them first. - Midoro (T C) 00:49, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Okay, thank you and sorry, I will not do something like this with out premision again. Gopherdude12 (talk) 01:41, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Can I add to your sandboxes

Would you be ok, if I made a small additions, or corrections to your sandbox such as the Bokoblin gallery? Delsait (talk) 23:06, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Of corse, you can edit them so long as you don't vandalize them. Gopherdude12 (talk) 23:27, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Gallery pages

The staff had discussed this earlier, but we would like to kindly ask you to please do not create any more gallery pages. I realize you're trying to help, but the wiki staff have decided that they will deliberate over which pages qualifies as needing a gallery page. Not all pages with large gallery sections need a separate gallery page. Thanks for your understanding. - Midoro (T C) 23:54, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

You don't need to remove your list for pages that should probably get galleries yet, the policy regarding galleries hasn't yet been decided and may coincide with the listing. We just mean to ask that you put a temporary halt until the policy is settled to avoid any unnecessary work on either side. - TonyT S C 00:06, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
I only took the list down incase new users try and make gallery pages for those articles, and I've made sandbox pages of some of them and they are quite short. Gopherdude12 (talk) 15:47, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Multiple Edits

I noticed you've been making a lot of edits to the same page over a short time. Doing this clutters the Recent Changes and the page histories, and makes patrolling more difficult for the Zelda Wiki staff. So instead of saving a lot, please just use the "show preview" button next to the "save page" button. It'll allow you to view your edit for any mistakes so you don't have to make a lot of fixing edits or additional ones.
Also please be aware that Spiky Balls are known as Spiked Balls in A Link Between Worlds. - TonyT S C 03:02, 18 December 2016 (UTC)

Gallery nav

We do not need a gallery navigation template. We've actually also been in the process of discussing the necessity of certain navigation templates and what to do with them, and a gallery navigation template is something we do not need on the wiki. The gallery pages are supposed to be self-contained. - Midoro (T C) 17:27, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Okay, I am still allowed to work on it since it's a sandbox though, right? Gopherdude12 (talk) 17:34, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, sandbox is fine. It's yours to work on whatever. I am only just saying that we don't need it to be mainspaced. It's likely that we're also going to eliminate a few navigation templates as well, so I might advise you to limit your template editing, especially the enemy ones. - Midoro (T C) 18:31, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Enemies vs Creatures that can harm Link

Enemy Galleries and Enemy Categories are intended only for actual enemies and traps. In the case of creatures that can harm Link, like Horses and Cuccos, they are not actively hostile to Link, only becoming hostile when antagonized by Link and therefore should not be listed. Link Lab (talk) 19:36, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

By that logic why are TP's Bulbos[edit:Bullbo] considered enemeis? Gopherdude12 (talk) 19:43, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

There are numerous pages on the wiki that are not up-to-date. I believe at one point, Bullbo was considered an enemy. That was then. But seeing as it is a mostly non-violent mount that can be safely ridden (and only becomes dangerous when Bulblins ride it), it would be considered no more than an animal. - Midoro (T C) 20:50, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Okay, I was just confused by the inconsistencies. Gopherdude12 (talk) 21:00, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
