You

Try not to use the word "you", "the player" and such in articles; when referring to something "Link" does. Unless it's in a reference. User:Axiomist1875/sig 22:31, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Just a quick question

Hi there. I just noticed your recent creation of two "templates". Um...what exactly were you trying to do? If you need assistance making templates and/or userboxes, just ask for help in the Heart Container ;)User:Mandi/sig 22:23, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

If you noticed there titles were "Paradoxtest". I just wanted to see what happened if you put a templte in a template in the first template...... and it said "template loop detected." Ganondox 21:02, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Problem?

A few of your recent talk page posts concern me, First the user Mooshiscool, why are you insulting that person? In any case, don't further harass people. Also you need to sign your user box request with the four tidles ~~~~ User:Axiomist1875/sig 23:33, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

I wasn't trying to insult mooshiscol, I just really hate moosh. Template:Nosig
And why aren't you signing posts? User:Axiomist1875/sig 23:44, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

I forgot :(Ganondox 23:53, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Where's the image you were trying to add to the ST Bosses page? i searched but couldn't find one on this site. User:Axiomist1875/sig 07:31, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Since there is most likely no image of the new boss on the site (not counting the video) I put IamError.jpg, half-hoping the I am Error image would show up and half-hoping nothing will show up. Just get an image of the boss from the trailer.Ganondox 14:46, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Haha

That's not really vandalism per se. I totally forgot about that thing, though. But, yeah, I have page protectors. The thing that annoys me the most about the vandalism is that my so called "friend" deleted the page which actually contains my userpage text! He only knew what it was called because he found it on my computer, too.

In any case, thanks for bringing that up. I'll add it on my page.Justin(Talk) 00:56, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

You know that you can click on history, and view past versions of the page, right? Nothing can ever be deleted from Wikimedia sites, unless there's a server problem. When admins delete a page, I believe that they can still see the stuff as we do, anyway. Alter  {T C B H } 19:23, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
You know what I meant, Alter. He blanked the page.
Also, if this site works like Wikia, then an admin must restore the page to view it. But I don't know if it does.Justin(Talk) 21:12, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
You don't have to restore the page to view it. Go to the version after the version you want to view and press prev. Ganondox 22:15, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes, I know what you meant. I was just making sure that you knew it wasn't lost. :P Alter  {T C B H } 23:07, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

I fixed it immediately after he did it. I just undid the change. And Ganondox, I'm talking about deleted pages, not edited pages. We can't see those.Justin(Talk) 00:00, 22 November 2009 (UTC) Pretty much yeah, we have to restore things to view them. But it's not like we'd lose a finger to redelete pages. Addition of Races?

Hey man, I've noticed you've been adding race tags to several bosses, like Diababa and Cyclok. While it is true the tags are there for a reason, such bosses are larger reincarnations of enemies, not races. The Zoras, Gorons, and Hylians represent races, while beings such as octoroks and babas represent enemies: always have, always will. =) User:Cipriano555/sig 05:05, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

But are enemies races? Some enemies are so common and diverse that they might as well be considered races. Like babas and blins. And also even when it was confirmed to be a nonenemy race nobody ever uses the race thing (like with Zant). User:Ganondox/sig 20:37, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

While I see your point about their diversity, look at it this way:

  1. Groups called "races" such as the Zora, Goron, Hylian, etc. exist and survive whether an evil is around or not, whereas "enemies" are a package deal with such evil - they tend to vanish upon the destruction of such dark forces.
  2. Though there seems to be a link between different versions of the Moblin in various games, they don't have a collective, central civilization (a home/government) that legitimate races like the Gerudo and the Sheikah do (or did) in any game. They instead seem to be traveling rogues, out for themselves, and scattered sporadically about the land.
  3. There is no reference that supports the enemies-are-races-too idea.

Thus, I believe enemies should stay enemies. What we can do, though, is add a template tag for "likeness", and then you can place whatever relative species is closest to the boss. =)User:Cipriano555/sig 23:56, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

That could be useful, I've noticed several recurring enemy types in the series. First one that comes to mind is the slime like things User:Axiomist1875/sig 03:35, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
The way I see it is that the "enemies" are "races". However, if it would be preferred, I could change it to "Race/Species"... Alter  {T C B H } 04:26, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Yea, I'm for that. Still, when I think of "races" I think of Zora, Gerudo, etc., not Octorok, Baba, and Bulblin. You know?User:Cipriano555/sig 04:33, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
OK, I'll do that. Because some bosses, like Fyrus, are actually a race (in your opinion). Alter  {T C B H } 04:45, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Well, technically he is! :P User:Cipriano555/sig 04:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Windwakermaster7 Ok Ganondox how is dark link more of a miniboss? He tougher than stagnox and fraaz and phytops.Template:Nosig

Well its not the difficulty that determines what is a boss here. I haven't actually played the game, but since Dark Link isn't required, and every optional "boss" has been counted as a miniboss except Big hardhat beetle, I can asume he probably doesn't fit our definition of boss.User:Ganondox/sig 03:09, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
True...I geuss he is more of a miniboss...Template:Nosig

Multiple edits

Hello! I noticed you've been making a lot of edits to the same page over a short time. Doing this puts a large strain on our server and clogs up the recent changes. So instead of saving a lot, use the "show preview" button next to the "save page" button. It'll allow you to view your edit for any mistakes so you don't have to make a lot of fixing edits or additional ones, okay?User:Mandi/sig 04:35, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

Hi there! Just wanted to reiterate the above sentiments. Of course, when working with Templates, you do need to save to see results from time to time, which is totally understandable. But I did see a few unnecessary saves in the Sandbox. Please try your best to utilize the "Show Preview" button and don't save unnecessarily. That keeps the Recent Changes looking neat and easy to navigate! Thanks! Embyr 75  --Talk-- 18:44, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
