Hello

Hello! I've seen you making many edits and also asking some questions on your profile. Those questions can be answered a lot easier if you join our Discord server. We could explain a few tools and guidelines of editing way easier in the server instead of on talk pages like this. I hope to see you join soon! You could also read the many Guidelines pages to learn more. Thanks! β€” 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐒𝐜𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 (𝐭𝐚π₯𝐀) 14:37, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

Terms

Hello. I've noticed some of the edits you have been making related to Breath of the Wild lately. These are really good, however I wanted to explain one thing that would make it easier for both you and the staff here. I'll choose this edit as an example. Whenever you have a word, or term, from any Zelda content, you should use the {{Term}} template. In that example above, you can see how this works. You start the template by using {{Term| for singular, or {{Plural| for multiple. The next parameter you would use would be the game parameter. (You type the parameters after a line with | which can be accessed by pressing SHIFT + \) Using the example from earlier, {{Term|BotW|Horse|link}}. You can see that the {{Term| makes the word appear singular, the next parameter has the abbreviation for Breath of the Wild, and the third parameter holds the word you want to display. The final parameter depicts if you want the word to link to the article or not, and should always be either empty, or |link}}. (It must be all lowercase.) Another optional parameter you can use is |display= }} which anything you add after the display= is what will appear in the actual article. So for this example, {{Term|BotW|Horse|link}} would produce this: Horse. {{Term|BotW|Horse}} without the |link}} would produce this: Horse. {{Term|BotW|Horse|link|display= SAMPLETEXT}} would display SAMPLETEXT instead of Horse, since it is in the display parameter: SAMPLETEXT. If you are still confused, you can read over the Term Guidelines and the Term Template and Plural Template pages. Thank you! β€” 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐒𝐜𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 (𝐭𝐚π₯𝐀) 11:38, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Edit: A side note, the first 3 parameters are required and can't be removed. If you are not sure what game to put in the game parameter, or it applies to multiple games, put Series in the parameter. β€” 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐒𝐜𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 (𝐭𝐚π₯𝐀) 11:53, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Understood. Thank you for this assistance. It is truly helpful.Argentum kurodil (talk) 11:59, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Re: GrantΓ© "true"

Seems this is popping up with all the shops. I just checked the Armor page and the images there didn't have the "true" mark.
In addition, I checked The Slippery Falcon's page and it does have it, confirming it's just the shops, as far as we know.
