Figurine
Game(s)

Figurines are recurring objects in The Legend of Zelda series.

Location and Uses

The Wind Waker

In The Wind Waker, Figurines are sculptures of characters and enemies made by Carlov for the Nintendo Gallery. In order for Carlov to produce a Figurine, Link must first show him a suitable Pictograph of the subject.[1] Carlov is only capable of producing one Figurine at a time in The Wind Waker, though he can produce up to three at once in The Wind Waker HD. When Carlov receives a Pictograph, he will become inspired and request an entire day to complete his work.[2][3] After a day has passed, Carlov will automatically place the Figurines in their respective rooms in the Nintendo Gallery based on what category they fall under.[4] If Link has Carlov make multiple Figurines at once, he will explain that his inspiration led him to get carried away and he consequently forgot which rooms he placed them in.[5]

There are 134 Figurines to collect in total, though 17 of these can only be collected under special circumstances.[which?]

The Minish Cap

In The Minish Cap, Figurines are small carved objects created by Carlov for the Figurine Gallery. Carlov's Figurines depict various people, scenes, and enemies throughout Hyrule. Link can buy a random Figurine at the Figurine Gallery using Mysterious Shells. The more Shells he puts in increases the chance of getting a Figurine he hasn't gotten before.[citation needed]

There are 130 Figurines available to get, though six additional Figurines are released when Link defeats Vaati. When Link collects all 136, he can get a key to a locked house from Herb, where he can find a Piece of Heart, a lot of Rupees,[how many?] and the Sound Test.
