Location and Uses

The Legend of Zelda

Link's Awakening

Tombstones are found within the Graveyard. Touching a Tombstone will spawn a Ghini or a Giant Ghini. A single Tombstone can be found west of the Graveyard. It is the resting location of the Ghost.

In Link's Awakening DX, the Tombstones need to be pushed in the correct order described in the book atop the bookshelf in the Village Library in order to unveil the Color Dungeon.

The Minish Cap

Twelve Tombstones are scattered throughout the northern portion of the Royal Valley. The top-left Tombstone can be pushed aside to reveal a cave with a Piece of Heart. The top-right Tombstone will move aside after Link Fuses Kinstone Pieces with Dampé, revealing a cave with Gina inside. Finally, the top-center Tombstone will move aside when Link uses the Flashing Spots on the Floor (initially covered by Rocks) to simultaneously press down three Floor Switches; this grants him access to the Royal Crypt.

Inside the Royal Crypt, a Tombstone emblazoned with the symbol of the Triforce marks the grave of Gustaf.
