Template talk:Characters

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

This template should have a frame and title. Otherwise, it blends in far too much with the regular content. Then again, it is doubtful that this template is needed - I can see it being needed on a multi-focus site such as Wikipedia, but not here, where we have a whole category called "Characters" that people can go to anyway. --Jase 19:47, 13 February 2007 (CST)

Din, Farore, & Nayru

Does anyone else think that this template should point to the oracles and not the goddesses? The goddesses are only mentioned in stories. But all three oracles are key characters. Defeating Ganon in the Oracle Series would be very difficult without the aid of Farore. And the other two are much more important. Farore is just about as important as Epona was in Ocarina of Time. Din and Nayru are just as important as the Great Deku Tree in either OoT or WW was. It would be better to have them in. I didn't want to just change it until there has been an agreement.--Matt 15:50, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

A Question of Villains

I'm surprised no one has pointed this out already, but why is Agnihim (sp?) mentioned as a major antagonist? I would consider him to be minor since he's only appeared in one game and not even as the final boss of that game (like Demise). I would make him a minor antagonist. Furthermore, why is Ghirahim not on here at all? That's so wrong to me when all of the other villains are. Zapto369 23:39, 25 February 2012 (EST)Zapto369 February 25, 2012 23:40

Groose & Ghirahim

I think Groose deserves the title minor protagonist, even though he's so cocky. Impa said he had a role to play in all this. I also think Ghirahim should be called an antagonist, either major or minor. ----Norrvegr (talk | contribs) 07:21, 14 June 2012 (EDT)

Groose, minor? Bro, he's more important than Link! Anyway, they've been added. — Abdullah [T] [C] [S]  08:00, 14 June 2012 (EDT)

Major and Minor Antagonists

Currently, it seems the distinction between major and minor antagonists is major antagonists are the final boss, while minor antagonists are any other major antagonists. Personally, I do not believe we need to have separate sections between major and minor antagonists. Zant, for instance, is a major antagonist I. Twilight Princess, as he is the central antagonist for 95% of the game. Same with Ghirahim. Their working for Ganon/Demise doesn't suddenly nullify their major antagonist position. Take Star Wars for instance; nobody will argue that Darth Vader is not a main antagonist, even if he works for the Emperor. I suggest merging the two categories together. Any objections? Anyone opinions on this? Anyway, Hilda needs to be added to the this. Would anyone object too me adding Hilda to the Minor Antagonist section?

Ganon

I know that the characters are listed in alphabetical order for each of the sections... except for Link and Princess Zelda, because they are MAJOR characters in the series. So why is Ganon not first in that list? ~~Miles07 (talk) 22:37, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
