Targets are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[name reference needed]

Location and Uses

They are sometimes completely destructible objects in projectile-firing minigames. Older targets, such as the ones found in the Gerudo Horseback Archery Range game, are stationary and indestructible. Points vary from game to game. In general, the center is the highest valued hit, but Salvatore's Cannon Game and the Goron version in Spirit Tracks only credit hitting the target. A variable among the destructible cannon targets are the number of hits they can take before being destroyed.

False targets often appear as targets with an "X" in place of a bull's eye. False targets generally subtract points from the score.
