Awakening[]

"Malon is based on Marin from Link's Awakening, who is in turn based on Princess Zelda, meaning that, indirectly, Malon is loosely based of Zelda." This statement is not sourced, and as far as I am concerned it is entirely untrue until it is sourced.

Yes, that's not proven. But Link confuses her with Zelda in LA, and Zelda appears in OoX with a sprite similar to that of Marin. Some states that Marin is based on Princess Peach rather than Princess Zelda. Also, don't forget to sign Eponasowner :p Jeangabin 12:58, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry about that. I'm seemingly never able to remember to sign my posts. Anyway, I was talking about Malon's resemblance to Marin (rather than Marin's resemblance to Zelda, which I find quite likely). Malon, rather than Marin, is simply a slightly more westernized version of the same name; so I would assume that Miyamoto may have simply recycled the names as he (probably) recycled the names of Rauru, Saria, Ruto, Mido, Darunia, and Nabooru from the adventure of link. --Stalkid 18:20, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Artwork[]

Why is there no artwork of adult Malon? And before someone says "There was none", I saw artwork of adult Malon in a video on youtube. MHNinja478 (talk) 12:05, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

It wouldn't have happened to look anything like this? PPLToast (talk) 15:04, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
If you could also give us a link to that video so we can see which artwork you are referring to. - Chuck * (Talk) 22:05, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
I'll find it tonight, I got stuff to do right now MHNinja478 (talk) 11:08, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Malon's mom or Talon's wife[]

If we had a page for her what would we call it?

Come to think of it I'm not even sure they're the same person. It's possibly that Malon's mother could be a different woman from Talon's wife who appears to resemble ugly masks. Tycio (talk) 02:02, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
