Is this article serious? Or am I missing out on what a 'light beam' is? Bc my definition of a Light beam would include what turned Blind the thief to his true form in LttP.Axiomist 04:48, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Have a look at what links here and you may understand a little better why the page is written this way. Yes, it could be taken to mean something broader, but currently it relates only to the WW "application" of a beam of light. --Adam 17:02, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Aye, in TWW there are beams of light that can be reflected using the Mirror Shield for various purposes. That's what this article is referring to. I'm not sure if the beams of light are really notable enough to have an article, though... --Ando 17:14, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Hey, I think I can edit this page, cuz Im sure there are more light beams in other zelda games (The Minish Cap (temple of droplets), Ocarina of time, etc.) RupeeLord 19:58, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Merge[]

Any objections to merging these mundane articles to Zelda Definitions? Axiomist (talk) 04:32, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

This one can possibly be expanded to include the beams of light that bring you out of caves and dungeons. If it's kept as is it could be put into Zelda Definitions, but if it's expanded to include pretty much any beam of light from Zelda (including possibly enemy lasers and the cave exit light beams), it could stay its own article. As least, that's my take on it. --Ionizer 10:41, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm sensing a big amount of pointlessness to this page at the moment. As the article is, "light beam" seems to just apply to... light. I certainly don't think letting light into a room counts as a "light beam" anyway, although the reflected light from the Mirror Shield is a little different. Is the term "light beam" actually used in the game to refer to anything like this? The warps to exit dungeons should really come under, well, warps of some kind, rather than this unusual term.
