He has a name - it's Hooger Howgendaiser or something This line is in the main article(hidden). Is it secret vandalism, fan fiction, manga, or something? I have the Prima guide (hard cover) and none of the Ho Ho's are named in it. I don't remember any names ingame either.Axiomist 05:15, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Whatever it was, it was nonsense. I got rid of it.User:Matt/sig 20:39, October 31, 2008 (UTC)
He does have a name, though. If you talk to him after getting the kaleidescope, he says "Ho! There! That has my name on it! Look! On the back, in really small writing! Yes, indeed! That's my real name... Hoiger Howgendoogen..." Triforce (T C) 20:42, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
When looking at that quote in context, another possibility becomes clear:
Quote1.png Hrm! ...Ho ho! That's a nice telescope you have there! May I see it for a moment? Ho! There! That has my name on it! Look! On the back, in really small writing! Yes, indeed! That's my real name... Hoiger Howgendoogen... Ow! I... I bit my tongue! ......... Regardless, this appears to belong to me. Thanks for delivering it! Please accept this gift as a symbol of my deep appreciation... Quote2.png

So, all of his friends have a telescope, and he doesn't. In walks a boy with what he thinks is a telescope, which he wants. He looks at it and either reads the name written on it and pretends that it's his name, or (more likely) pretends that there's something really small written and makes up a dumb fake name. To me, this reads more like a little in-joke thrown in by Nintendo than hard fact. User:Adam/sig 22:38, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Point taken. Good thing I never edited it in, then. Triforce (T C) 23:01, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Race

Do the Ho Ho Tribe really qualify as a race? They seem like they would just fall into the category of humans. Champion of Nayru (talk) 21:40, 7 October 2013 (UTC)Champion of Nayru
