The word "Genie" is never mentioned in the game, or either version's manual. How did we get this name? ZENOX T C 23:24, 23 April 2011 (EDT)

Actually, none of the bosses or mini-bosses in LA, OOA, and OOS are named in-game or in the manual. They all have official names out there, though, which I believe come from the games' official Nintendo guides. I checked the LA guide; Genie is indeed the correct name.
Perhaps it would be a good idea for us to start referencing these guides for boss names... — Hylian King [*] 07:15, 24 April 2011 (EDT)
As Hylian King said, it's mentioned in Nintendo's Official Player Guide a few times. I added a reference to the article, so it should be more legit now. We really should reference the guides more often :P — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  08:14, 24 April 2011 (EDT)
