Is it just me or is the Soothing Rain identicle to the symbol on the mask above the north exit of clocktown? I can try looking for a confirmation image. -- կրակ (խոսել) -- 00:53, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Here they are for comparason. -- կրակ (խոսել) -- 01:16, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Nah, they're pretty different. I would be interested in seeing if those mask-like things did match up with anything else though.. There's a lot of stuff like that in Majora's Mask (and Wind Waker actually) that may have more to it than we've bothered to catch yet. :) -- RustyCage 21:30, 6 May 2010 (EST)
I'm a bit skeptical, like Ember here, about this symbol. I definitely see the resemblance between the two, as this symbol not only appears in these two games, but throughout the majority of Zelda titles in the franchise! In my opinion, the symbol is deliberately placed in the games, having cropped up so frequently from game to game, the only trouble is... we still are unable to decipher it's meaning! Eh, that's one for Noble Wrot, he's the king of the Symbols page here. =) — ciprianotalk 03:28, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
What other games is it in? All I can tell is that the MM form represents the northern area of Termina and in OoS, it is found in a dungeon at the northern most point of the game. -- կրակ (խոսել) -- 05:40, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
This just shocked me. I'm playing through Wind Waker right now, entered Dragon Roost Cavern, and what do I see smack in the beginning? Something very similar to this symbol.. It's on every pushable block of the dungeon. Have a look for yourself! My stumbling upon that so soon after you bringing this up was a crazy coincidence. -- RustyCage 21:14, 7 May 2010 (EST)
Not only that, but it's on Vaati's tiara in the official art from The Minish Cap, and a similar, elongated design is seen on the Phantom Hourglass itself, on its brim. Wild stuff! There's also a forum link here at ZeldaInformer where the potential meaning of this symbol is discussed. — ciprianotalk 02:41, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
