Talk:Dynalfos

these two enemies are completely different. you go and play twilght princess and you will see there is. dinofols can be killed easily. dynalfols take a longer time and actually need strategy to beat them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Twilightinthedark (talk) 19:39 March 23, 2007

I don't think there were any Dinolfos in TP, but there were Lizalfos. I can't help but think that "Dynalfos" was just a weird, misspelled transliteration. Jimbo Jambo 17:16, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Merge with Dynalfos?

Dynalfos and Dinofols just seem to be alternate spellings of the same enemy name, much like "Wizrobe" and "Wizzrobe" or "Barba" and "Volvagia." Both are armored lizard warriors who are essentially stronger versions of the Lizalfos. Ganondorfdude11 09:12, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

I support the merge, reason being that it's easier for the reader to comprehend. Secondly, there is hardly any difference as both are in the Lizalfos category, though one thing that needs to be done when merging, is keeping the difference of the name to be quite clear, meaning keeping Dynalfos labeled as Dynalfos, and Dinolfos labeled as Dinolfos. So if we do merge the two, Dynalfos still needs its own infobox.User:Steven/sig 14:10, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Perhaps it would be for the best, but I'm not sure that those reasons are all good. However, if they are given their own enemy boxes (which they should), it kind of defeats the purpose, and only removes an article. Guess I'm neutral here. Oh, and I added some comments from earlier this year on the other page. Alter  {T C B H } 04:13, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Same enemy, different games. Merge away, but keep in the article that the TP versions are called "Dynalfols" or whatever.Justin(Talk) 04:23, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Rename?

Shouldn't this be renamed to Dinolfos, seeing how their most recent appearance (HW) called them that? Drillzer (talk) 08:32, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

In cases where there are names from canon games, names from non-canon games do not take precedence whatsoever. TriforceTony (talk) 18:02, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
