Inside Hyrule Castle[]

Is "Inside Hyrule Castle" considered a dungeon? If so, does it need its own page (like A Link to the Past) or should it be mentioned briefly on the main Hyrule Castle article (like Four Swords Adventures)? --Joshua (Yumil) (talk) 02:09, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, it gets a map.KrytenKoro (talk) 05:09, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Dungeon order[]

I've rearranged the dungeon order to fit a more logical format*, since it seemed to be an arbitrary listing anyway.
My reasoning is that A Link Between Worlds features at least three means of arranging the dungeons, but two of these orders cannot be completed as they are. This leaves the third as the most official path. For the sake of reference, here's how the orders go:

  1. Chamber of Sages ("COURAGE") arrangement: Swamp Palace, Ice Ruins, Turtle Rock, Desert Palace, Thieves' Hideout, Skull Woods, Dark Palace. Cannot be completed because it places the Desert Palace before the Thieves' Hideout, which is impossible as the Sand Rod is necessary to enter the Desert Palace. (Note Link's inventory also follows this, but places Gulley at the top.)
  2. File Select Screen arrangement: Desert Palace, Turtle Rock, Swamp Palace, Dark Palace, Skull Woods, Thieves' Hideout, Ice Ruins. Impossible for the aforementioned reason.
  3. "Rainbow" arrangement: Ice Ruins (Rosso, red painting), Swamp Palace (Oren, orange), Thieves' Hideout (Osfala, yellow), Dark Palace (Gulley, green), Skull Woods (Seres, blue), Desert Palace (Irene, indigo), Turtle Rock (Impa, purple/"violet" for you prudes). The rainbow theme becomes apparent after Link has entered Lorule during the segment where Hilda saves him, as a rainbow of flames surrounds him. Since this is the only in-game order that is achievable, I've gone ahead and rearranged it as I've said. I'm open for discussion, however. We could arrange it by the dungeon order in A Link to the Past, as it's also possible to complete them in that order, but I don't feel like that's the direction we should go with as there is no hint in-game towards that arrangement. Apart from completing the Thieves' Hideout before the Desert Palace, it's all free-reign to the player. I just feel like the rainbow order is closest to the possible patterns that ALBW puts forth, given that the other two are impossible and the game repeated emphasis on the rainbow. - TonyT S C 11:16, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
