Cremia's hug[]

I think the [verification needed] "however, in a randomly-triggered event,[verification needed] Cremia will give an affectionate hug to Link instead of Rupees for helping her get past the Gorman Brothers." might be if you save all three bottles from the Gorman Brothers? I read it in the Prima games strategy guide; can someone confirm? --KokoroSenshi (talk | contribs) 13:42, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Cremia & Kafei?[]

People are saying all over the Net that Kafei is the person that Cremia likes, and yet I never saw him be mentioned by name, not even with a gender pronoun... While Kafei would be the obvious answer, there's no evidence saying it isn't ANJU that Cremia is pining for... Was it made clear in the Japanese version? If so, please provide the translated line. And before the insults get hurled for me being a yuri shipper, I'm just saying, nobody SAID it wasn't Anju, rather everyone ASSUMED it was Kafei - Mugen Kagemaru 01:53, 17 January 2017 (UTC)

Anju's Mother mentions Kafei likely running off with Cremia and breaking Anju's heart. - TonyT S C 01:58, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
That she does, but that's her assumption based on what we can safely assume to be what Tortus did to her. It wouldn't be a stretch to say she might be projecting.
I, on the other hand, am looking for a mention that the person Cremia herself likes, that Romani mentions, is either male or female. For example, does her line in the Japanese script specifically use male nouns (such as "otoko" or "seinen" for example) to refer to Cremia's crush? If not, we shouldn't assume it to be true based on the lashings-out of a heartbroken woman who thinks her daughter may have suffered the same fate as herself. As a wiki, we're expected to be better than that. -Mugen Kagemaru (talk) 18:21, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
Page 245 of Encyclopedia confirms that Kafei is Cremia's secret crush. - Chuck * (Talk) 21:49, 5 December 2019 (UTC)

Japanese version: Cremia's aunt?[]

In the American demo version, Cremia calls Madame Aroma her aunt. It would be interesting to know whether that's a mistranslation of the Japanese, or whether they really did mean "aunt" in the sense of a parent's sibling.

Here's the quote. Note the word おばさ in there...

あ・・・あんた
おばさんに やとわれたの?
ここには・・・
カーフェイは いないよ

Would appreciate the input of anyone sufficiently qualified. HylianKing (talk) 21:43, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

The word is おばさん (Obasan).
It can be both "aunt" and "older woman". For the latter it can kind of be like calling a friend of your parent(s) an "aunt" in American contexts (though in actuality you don't have to even know them), but in this case it's probably just like "an old(er) lady". Though I believe it still could technically mean a biological relative, I don't really think it's meant to be that. TriforceTony (talk) 22:18, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
