Please, notice that for some reason I don't know, the name of some characters differ from country to country. Here I provide some examples:
1. America-English: Byrne 2. America-French: Fraisil 3. America-Spanish: Diego
4. Europe-English: Staven 5. Europe-French: Traucmahr 6. Europe-Spanish: Táligo 7. Europe-Italian: Tristalpin

Names from a Japanese Guide[]
I have recently acquired the Nintendo DREAM guide book for Spirit Tracks, and in one of its sections, it lists the names of almost all characters in the game, including those whose names are not revealed in-game. The names not in any version of the game that would later also be featured in Hyrule Historia and the like (Shitate, Joynas, Joe, and Rei) are also in this, so it doesn't contradict those either.
Now, the guide in question is in Japanese, and I was wondering what the rules are as to which of the characters listed here am I allowed to rename based on the information from the guide? Are there any characters whose "titles", even if they aren't names, are taken from offical English sources? --Kaialone02 (talk) 16:44, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
